Blogiversary Giveaway!

Hey everyone! You can stop waiting in suspense, because I’m here to announce my giveaway! Which you still don’t know… Oops, the featured image kind of gives it away… Dang it! Need to work on that…

So, yeah. I’m giving away a free book of the winners choice! Of course, there is some criteria…

  • The book must be clean… No profanity, unless you’ve read the book and any cursing doesn’t bother you.
  • It cannot be above a Young Adult rating, unless it is a classic. Anything above tends to be borderline inappropriate. UPDATE: If the book is in a Christian genre, such as Christian Romance, or you have read and know the book, it can be above Young Adult.
  • It can be any price, but nothing extreme, like fifty dollars or something.
  • You don’t have to be a follower to enter.
  • If eighteen or younger, you must have a parents permission.

To get entries, you can…

  1. Leave a comment saying you’d like to enter, and saying what book you would pick if you won. Also state that you have a parents permission.
  2. Reblog this post on your personal blog, and link back to this post.
  3. Post to social media, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc. (Which I have zero idea of how to do because I don’t have social media, so good luck.)
  4. Tell a friend about this giveaway.

Each of these will give you one extra entry. (Each social media platform will give you one, also, so if you post to Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest, you’ll get three entries.) And make sure you fill in the comment form correctly, because that’s the email I will use to contact you. If you already have a WordPress account, just send me an email through the contact form labeled ‘Giveaway’, so I have your email. 🙂

Sorry, this giveaway is only to open to residents of the USA.

UPDATE: Giveaway ends April 30th. Winner will be announced on May 1st.

Good luck, everyone!!

Happy Birthday To The Daydreaming Damsel: One Year With You Amazing Peoples

That’s right. I’ve been with you all in the blogging world one. Whole. Year.

It seems like yesterday that I sat down at the computer, bright-eyed and excited to start a blog. I’ve gone so far since then, and met so many amazing people. Let’s take a look, shall we?

A big thank you to Grace, my first follower and best friend IRL, my newest follower, Amberly, and everyone in between. I’ve made a lot of blogging friends, Megan, Allison, Madi, and people I can’t remember at the moment because I’m really tired. Just consider yourself a blogging friend.

In celebration of my blogiversary, I will be hosting a giveaway… BUT I WON’T TELL YOU WHAT I’M GIVING AWAY!!!!! MWAHAHAHA!!!!!

Just kidding. I’ll be doing the official post on Monday, so you’ll find out then. I won’t leave you completely in the dark. Only Grace is that cruel… 😉

Once again, I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of my faithful followers, who must be incredibly capable to deal with my crazy schedule. I can’t wait to see what the next year of blogging holds for me!!

(No signoff because my graphic design is cringy…. Grace, any time would be nice for that signoff!! XD)

The Promised Photo Dump

Hiya, all! I promised you all a photo dump today, so here are some spring pictures I’ve taken over the past few days!!

Peanut the Adorable!! She’s gotten so big already…

And we got another! Her nickname from the breeder was The Flying Nun, since her ears are a little deformed, and she holds them out behind her when she runs. So we named her Sally, after Sally Fields, who played the Flying Nun. Here’s a picture of her.

See her ears? Here are Tummy’s, for a comparison.

I think goats are addicting… XD

I was playing Hide and Seek with Elie the other day… This how she was counting. (She’d count to five, then peek to see where I was, then count to ten really fast and yell, “I found you!”)

Her hiding, and her “You found me!” face. XD

“Bella, I got duwt (dirt) on my hands…”

And another hiding place!!

Do you like my photo posts? Do you think I’m crazy to get another goat? And is Elie as adorable as I think she is?

Quick Note

Hi everyone! I was planning on doing a photo dump today, but I’ve been short on time since we’re doing some major spring cleaning before my newest sibling makes its appearance. And I was just sitting down to write out my post, and none of my photos had uploaded. Even though they’d been uploading to WordPress since 7:30. It’s probably our Internet, which we have a lot of problems with, but I don’t have the time to re-upload them all. So, I’ll be doing my photo dump on Wednesday (which solves my what to post problem! Yippee!) Thanks for your patience with my crazy schedule!

And So It Begins… /// Camp NaNoWriMo, April 2017 \\\

Today, it begins.

Camp NaNo, to be precise.

I’m not as freaked out as I was in November. Mostly excited.

Because I’ll be finishing and revising my original novel from NaNoWriMo. I’m so excited to get this book finished! Because I’ve never actually finished a novel. *hides in shame* I really want to get this book finished, because I’d love to self-publish it. I also am planning on writing the sequel for the July session, and the third book in November if I decide there’s enough plotline to make a third.

But, I thought you guys might like an interview with one of my MC’s. I did an interview with another character, Finn Skylark, here.  The character’s name is Skye Foster, and this is basically what she looks like.

She has a few freckles, and some coppery gold mixed in with the blue in her eyes, and no bangs, but that’s pretty much her. And now for some questions, so you can get to know her better.

What is your name?

My full name is Skye Abriel Foster. I’m normally called Skye, but I get a Miss Foster here and there from the elves.

How old are you?

I am fifteen years old. My birthday is April 16th, if that matters to anyone.

Where do you live?

I live in Townsend, Tennessee, a small town in the Smoky Mountains.

 What is your current occupation?

Average high-schooler, I guess. I’d like to go to collage at The University Of Tennessee in Knoxville for a music degree when I’m older, but that’s definitely down the road.

How did you meet Finn Skylark?

Well, I saw him a few times coming home from school, and I introduced myself. He seemed a little surprised I was talking to him, but I didn’t think about it much at first.

When did you realize Finn was an elf?

Well, I didn’t really realize it, he told me. I was hiking after school, and I found him tapping a tree and muttering. I was kind of like, what are you doing? And he told me about his mission from the queen and all of the problems going on in Eeranthoi. I offered to help, and he took me with him to his home. Apparently that tree was a portal.

Who is the main antagonist in WTPC?

I’m not going to say the exact name, since that would be a major spoiler, but I’ll just say a friend betrayed us and tried to take over the kingdom, with tons of dragons and giants and other monsters. There were a few pretty epic battles, but we won out in the end.

There you go! I hope you liked Skye. She’s a pretty complex character, but I’ve got her figured out. 😉

Now, if you’ll excuse me…. I must go write.

Our spring show was last night… I’m so tired. At least the music didn’t cut out during the middle of a scene like it did during the Nutcracker. O_o

My Reaction To Watching Star Wars For The First Time.

I watched A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back on Saturday with Grace, after Pinocchio rehearsal. We started A New Hope at eight, and when it ended I started freaking out, “WE HAVE TO WATCH FIVE WE HAVE TO WATCH FIVE!!!!!!!!” (Why are they in that order, anyway?)

(Well, that explains it.) So, we were up till midnight watching movies. Good times, good times, eh, Grace?

But, OH MY GOODNESS!!!! SERIOUSLY PEOPLE, WHY ARE THEY SO GOOD!?!?!?!?!? I just love them so so much! Luke is adorable, Leia is beautiful, and Han Solo… Where do I even start with him????

I LOVE Han Solo. The attitude, the awesome Millennium Falcon,  and the quotes you can do anything with….

(One of my favorite lines ever, BTW.) I LOVE HAN SOLO OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!

And the ending of #5…. Luke got his hand chopped off, Han is frozen is carbonite, and I’m like, “I’ll just be over here. In the corner. Crying my eyes out.” And how they have to pull Han away from Leia to freeze him in the carbonite… *sobs miserably* I almost cried. Really.

AND… Darth Vader. It’s sort of weird, but I like Darth. He’s cool. And I already knew he was Luke’s dad, since that’s like the worst-kept secret in the world, but I was still surprised. Luke’s face when he finds out, though… XD

I like Luke, too. From what I’d heard, he seemed like he’d be way overrated, but I wasn’t dissapointed.  It’s so cool how he can use the Force. Especially with doing a handstand with Yoda on his feet. That seems slightly difficult. Grace tells me the fighting’s a lot better in the newer movies, but I love old movies with fake-looking animals and old animation like Star Wars has. I thought it was cool how Luke uses his dad’s old lightsaber for a time.

(This is so me.)

And, just because there’s nothing like some demonic little munchkins to make you smile…

Why do the Jawas remind me of muchkins? Is this just me???

Have you seen Star Wars? Are you as in love with it as me? And do you LOVE Han Solo as much as I do? (The answer is yes.)

A (Sorta Late) Summer Bucket List

Soooo…. this is sort of late. But, I figured since it’s just getting warm enough to do most of these, it’s not too late. I’m a little short on time, since my mom and dad are on a double-date with friends tonight and I’m babysitting my siblings, so there won’t be the graphics I wanted to make. I’m also sorry I didn’t post Wednesday, I was tired, and Wednesday is a hard day for post ideas for me, for some reason. I’ll try to be better about posting then. Anyway, here’s my summer bucket list!

  • Read 150 Books. This shouldn’t be hard for me, since I’m an extremely fast reader.
  • Walk Through A Drive-through. I may get a chance to do this tomorrow. I’ll see how it goes.
  • Sleep Under The Stars. I want to do this for my birthday, when it’ll be warm.
  • Swim More Often. I love to swim, and I only get to do it once or twice a summer. I’d love to get some more swim time in.
  • Get In The Habit Of Stretching Every Day. I’m really bad about stretching, and I need to, since I’m a dancer, so I’m trying to work up a stretch routine.
  • Finishing Writing And Revising When The Phoenix CallsI need to get this done, if I want to self-publish this series.

So there you have it! It may not be a very extensive bucket list, but all are things I feel I can accomplish over the summer, so I feel pretty good about it.

What do you think of my bucket list? Did you notice my new header?

First Day Of Spring Cuteness…. Introducing Peanut the Adorable!

As the title hints, I have some supreme cuteness here for you today. (WARNING: To all you death-by-cuteness prone bloggers, I will warn of your sudden and inevitable death.) Without further ado, I present to you…

PEANUT THE ADORABLE!!!!! ISN’T SHE JUST SO CUTE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? We got her Saturday, and she’s only ten days old! She looks so tiny compared to Tummy! Her head barely reaches my knee.

She’s just so tiny! Her legs look so long and gangly compared with the rest of her body.

EEEEEEEEPPP!!!! *dies* Oops, forgot I’m a death-by-cuteness prone blogger.

My goodness gracious, she’s so cute! We had to put one of our dog’s extra sweaters on her, since it’s been pretty cold, and it’s so baggy on her!

And for you people who are curious about how Tummy’s doing, he’s doing great! He’s doubled in size at least, and he’s getting so grown up! Peanut can walk under his stomach. XD

Do you think Peanut’s cute? (The answer is yes.) Would you like to see more pictures?

Snow?!? What???

WHY DID IT HAVE TO SNOW?!?!?!? Sure, it’s mostly melted by now, but, still!!! I managed to drag my lazy, winter-hating teen behind out of the house long enough to take some pictures for you lovelies. Here they are!

I loved the tiny baby hyacinths peeking through the snow. 🙂

My mom’s been bugging me about the rule of thirds, so I’ve tried to work on it a little. XD

Did you like my pictures? Is there snow at your house?
